The firm has been the environmental consultant to this North
Shore Long Island Village for the last four years. ETG has
been involved in a wide range of engineering, waterfront
planning and environmental issues with Bayville during this
time. ETG has prepared the flood plain management studies and
the Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan, which has fulfilled
eligibility requirements for grant applications that the
Village has successfully made to various New York State
agencies.

minimization/ pollution prevention options for three

Members of
the firm were involved in a USAID sponsored project to
determine optimum methods for disposing of wastes from
agricultural processing facilities.

Assisted in the preparation of a proposal by Westinghouse to
take over the entire management of the Brookhaven National
Labs management in Upton, NY. This work included the
environmental cleanup contracting which is a major aspect of
the site management contract.
University of
Puerto Rico/ PREPA (Puerto Rico Power Authority)
Retained as a
team member with the University of Puerto Rico to monitor
compliance and progress of a USEPA consent decree with PREPA.
This decree is directed at assuring, that all air
quality-monitoring requirements will be met, in addition to
other requirements. This is a five-year program, funded by a
one million dollar PREPA account.
PCB cleanup:
Great Neck N.Y.
Retained to respond to a PCB transformer explosion in this
residential community.
Solid Waste
Management Project: Biskupija, Croatia.
Retained to
conduct a solid waste management project for a municipality in
the Knin region of Croatia along the Bosnian border. This
USAID sponsored and funded project was done in collaboration
with a local engineering and planning firm from Zagreb, and
the municipal government in Biskupija.
Environmental
Compliance and Renovation: Shirley, N.Y.
Environmental compliance and renovation of a Long Island Home
Depot site. This work includes the management of the
environmental cleanup activities on the site in preparation
for the final development of the site and construction of the
store facilities.

Review plans
for a Rockaway Boulevard site in Queens, NY with the aim of
developing a remedial compliance program that can be approved
by the NYS DEC.
